My Babies
All of my books were inspired by a dream(s) at one point in my life. That is why I know for sure that writing/storytelling was my gift. If you know me, you know I cannot remember a lot of things. I have a very short memory span, so to be able to remember a dream, put it on paper, and create a book from it, had everything to do with GOD! He wanted me to do this, so I am just following instructions. All of the books I write have some type of suspense and a lot of drama. They even have pieces of me and my inner circle of friend’s experiences.
The names have been changed to protect the (not so innocent). LOL!
The list may be small for now, but keep your EYEZ on me! I only hope you enjoy the results of my God giving craft as much as I do. OH! Please make sure you are sitting or at least stabilized somewhere while reading any of my material. I will not be responsible for any harm you cause to yourself or others because you cannot lift you’re head up from reading.... :^)

Urban drama with a relatable twist is what I call my work.... Enjoy

A Better Place
So my 1st born was created from a dream I have over and over for about three years. I could not understand why everything was so clear and felt so real. I would literally wake up some mornings angry and ready to fight. Some days my crying would wake me, so me being the over thinker I am, I thought God was trying to warn me about a future relationship. I thought I was living the saying, “there is always warning before destruction” so it’s safe to say all my relationships I had while I had the dreams failed. LOL. I was not going to be a victim of infidelity!! Sad to say it had nothing to do with me and my future husband, but everything to do with how my life would change by being an Author.
The Pierson boys are owners of a construction business outside a small suburb of one of the biggest cities in the world “Chicago”. Tyson the oldest and his wife Kayla of 10 years run into a few snags in their marriage. While Torrance the middle son, finds himself stuck in the middle of a baby mama & long time girlfriend’s fight to be number one in his life. Trent, the youngest boy and most grounded gets a little off track with his plans to be the next pastor of their father’s church when he falls short and makes the decision to secretly date a married woman. The baby girl Terrain is the feisty one with a lot of attitude whom doesn’t care about anyone but herself but soon gets a reality check. And to add to the chaos, their close friends are going through some similar issues and drama. They all pull together and strive to get to that better place where life is a lot simpler with a little faith and a lot of Prayer most of them get there. I said MOST! :)

As Faith Would Have it
Awwww…My 2nd baby was also created from a dream I had once I became roommates with a close friend. It was a weird dream and I took what I remember and twisted it up a LOT!! I love this story and all of the characters.
Faith, our main character who is almost 30 and still a virgin loves to cook and has dreams of being a restaurant owner one day.
After a tragedy hits her home town in Atlanta she decides to pack up and move north in search of a new start. She becomes roommates with her childhood friend Javon who now lives in the big city of Chicago. Javon has a twin Vanessa, and Faith finds out sooner than later that they have secrets that are too much to handle. And to make things worse, her friendly romance with Vanessa’s fiancé Alex, quickly get out of control as they try to hide the passion that grows between the two of them. Too many lies, secrets and unnecessary drama unfolds and forces Faith to make a decision that changes her life. This decision had a domino effect on everyone in her circle. But as fate would have it, things turn out just the way they were supposed to. This book will have you experiencing every emotion you can think of. So get your tissue and hold on too your seats as you read the perfect love story with a twist.

Lessons Learned

My third child was born after I was stalked, threated, and harassed to make a part two to “A Better Place.” I left the end open just in case I wanted to add to it. And that was one of the best decisions I had ever made. I had the storyline already for this one before I wrote my 2nd book. I just had to get the characters personality together.
Lessons Learned is the continuation of what’s going on in the Pierson’s life. In the first book “ A better Place” where you were introduced to the Brother's, their significant others, their close friends and family, plus all the drama that followed. There was a history of infidelity, secrets and lies that allowed the devil to move right on in and dwell in the mist of their lives. This book picks up where they left off and gives you a few more details of what really happen with the best friends Zion & Tiff, plus the drama they been dealing with from baby daddy Jerry. It also digs in the life of the secret sister and her past, and gives you the outcome of the infidelity that occurred between Kay and TY. You will see how a few mistakes and bad decisions could effect and change your life. Love will be conquered, hearts will be broken, relationships will be mended, and tears will be shed but most of all Lessons will be learned!

Post Office Trips
Post Office Trips began as an unexpected idea. One Saturday morning, while standing in the post office and observing people—as writers often do—a story suddenly came to mind. I didn’t know why, but as soon as I got home, I shared it on Facebook. It was meant to be just one short story.
However, after my friends read it, their response was: “WHOOOA! Can’t wait until next week’s trip!” I was surprised, but after a few calls and texts, I decided to post another installment the following week. What started as a single story turned into a weekly series, and before I knew it, a year had passed. Those short stories eventually became a full book.

I let the manuscript sit for years before deciding to publish it—and now, here we are!

This is the smallest book I’ve ever written in terms of pages, but I’m incredibly proud of how it turned out and can’t wait for you to read it.

About the Book

Post Office Trips is a collection of short stories about two people who needed an escape from their everyday lives. They begin meeting weekly at the neighborhood post office, and what starts as lighthearted fun soon becomes something deeper. When their consistent visits draw attention, secrets unravel—and what seemed like mere lust transforms into real love.
Follow the journey from lies to truth in this short yet captivating read, told with the signature flair and storytelling style my readers have come to love. I can’t explain how these ideas come to me—I just hope you enjoy the blessings they bring.
Thank you, and happy reading!

You're welcome!

Ties & Nots
My Fifth Born Is a BOY! So He Reads a Little Differently.
This book was one of the hardest for me to write because it carries so much of me within its pages. I had to confront myself while writing it. The characters share stories that reveal how easily we, as humans, can become entangled in relationships we were never meant to be in.
No one is perfect—and GOD does not expect us to be. My understanding of Christ is that He calls us to strive to be more like Him every day. I fell short of that when I gave my heart to a man who only wanted my soul.
WOW—that’s deep, right? Let me explain what I mean by “soul”: The spiritual or immaterial part of a human being or animal, regarded as immortal. He and I shared an unexplainable connection for years, even though we both knew it was completely and morally wrong.

So Why Did I Write This Book?

I wrote this book with the hope that it will help us recognize the danger of being illegally connected—sharing your soul with someone who belongs to someone else. It’s not only foolish; it’s a complete waste of time.
God does not want us to tie up our energy and emotions with another person’s “person.” I truly believe there is someone for everyone. Today, I walk with my head held high, free from embarrassment over the poor decisions I made years ago. I sit in peace—the deliverance I resisted for so long—and pray that someone reading this book will come to the same realization:
GOD does NOT want us to take possession of things HE has NOT given us. What GOD has for YOU is for YOU!
My Prayer for You is....

If you are tied to someone you are NOT supposed to be tied to, I pray this book helps you break free from that spirit of bondage.
